Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, is a small town southwest of Madison, with a Norwegian heritage and a population of just over 7,000. The town preserves its link to the past with many cultural celebrations and events. Mount Horeb has been know as the “Troll Capital of the World” and its main street is called the Trollway, with Troll statues and themes  found throughout the village. It was also known as the “Mustard Capital of the World”, and until 2009, was home to the Mount Horeb Mustard Museum, which was showcased on the Food Network in 2002. The museum has relocated to Middleton, Wisconsin.  Due to its location, Mount Horeb offers year-round recreation which includes biking, hiking and skiing.
